Carita has been a budding communications guru since the age of nine. When most students her age were focused on perfecting their handwriting and reading skills, Carita was busy writing scripts for her mock news broadcast production. She has translated the love of writing into a career. With extensive experience in multicultural public relations and marketing, Carita has crafted successful communications messages and strategies for entities such as the World Golf Foundation-The First Tee, Visit Jacksonville and First Coast Black Nurses Association.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Carita holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of North Florida and an MBA from Jacksonville University. She enjoys watching sports, especially football and basketball, shopping, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
